Who We Are
Dave and Judy Gerry both came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior at young ages. Their paths crossed in the 1960s while attending the University of California, Riverside.
After graduating in 1969, Judy joined the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ as Dave served in the United States Army. They have been happily married and involved in lay ministries together since 1971.
The Lord blessed their marriage with five children and today the family has expanded to welcome 16 grandchildren. Their greatest joy is watching their family walking with the Lord (III John 4).
Over the years Dave and Judy have sought to follow the Lord’s will in their home and lives as God has revealed it through His written Word. They have experienced first-hand that Scripture is alive, powerful and practical for everyday living. Their heart-cry has been to disciple their own family and to help others in their personal walks with Christ.
As today’s culture increasingly veers away from honoring and knowing Jesus, Dave and Judy feel compelled to reach and train the younger generations with the truth and hope of Jesus found in God’s Word (Psalm 78:4-8). Their great passion is to help Christians to rediscover the ‘ancient paths’ laid out in Scripture that lead to joy, peace and rest for their souls (Jeremiah 6:16).
They also actively exhort and equip the older generation to boldly speak of the Lord to their own children and grandchildren (Psalm 145:4).
Dave and Judy share an urgency and enthusiasm in their message because the Lord’s return for His Church is imminent.
Dave worked as a geologist for many years and today he manages a blueberry farm corporation in southern California. As active members of the Camarillo Evangelical Free Church, Dave and Judy mentor the young married couples ‘Berean’ class - helping families to build a future that is focused on knowing and honoring the Lord.
Dave and Judy have also been actively involved in ministries such as the Gideons International, Child Evangelism Fellowship, AWANA, Moms in Touch Prayer Groups, M.O.P.S. (Mothers of Preschoolers) and Life Centers for pregnant women.
