What We Do

When we married in 1971 we understood that we were entering into a covenant with God Himself. Our sincere desire was to seek the Lord and follow His Word as it applied to our own home and marriage.

During those early days we discovered that there is great joy and freedom in living life in a biblical way. God’s Word is alive; He speaks to us through Scripture, and the Word is powerfully applicable to every facet of life.

With each passing year we look around and see that contemporary culture is moving away from the Lord as fast as it can. This is a restless age. People are willing to try anything to find peace and joy in their lives, but they have lost sight of their Creator who loves them.

Even Christians are struggling in their faith. Surveys reveal that there is an increasing ignorance of God’s Word among believers today. Strong and accurate biblical teaching is hard to find. Today there is a ‘famine in the land for hearing the words of the Lord’ (Amos 8:11).

The Lord Jesus has called us to point our culture back to the truth and help them to return to the ‘ancient paths’ established by God Himself through Jesus Christ. The Lord promises that if we will “Stand by the ways and see and ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; that (we) will find rest for (our) souls” (Jeremiah 6:16a).

Over the years, as individuals and groups would ask us to disciple them and teach God’s Word, we began to develop Bible studies and other resources that they could use on their own. Our desire is to get Christians to dig into the Word of God for themselves, obediently walk with Him, and experience the abundant life promised by Christ (John 10:10b).

To that end, this ministry and website is devoted to making these resources and Bible studies available. We have three basic resources to help you in your walk with the Lord:
